St. Augustine’s Pastoral Centre

The beautiful parish hall known as St. Augustine’s Pastoral Centre was built during the tenure of Rev. Fr. Thomas Nadackal, the vicar. The inauguration and blessing of the hall took place on February 14, 2014, by the Bishop of Pala Diocese, Mar Joseph Kallarangatt.

After a decade, in 2024, the hall was renovated and modernized under the leadership of the current vicar, Rev. Fr. George Velooparambil. The upgraded facility now features a fully air-conditioned main hall with seating capacity for 1,200 people, a mini A/C hall that accommodates 250 guests, and ample parking space for over 1,500 vehicles.

Set in a serene rural setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the town yet easily accessible by road from all major locations, the hall provides ideal infrastructure for all kinds of gatherings—both day and night—especially wedding receptions and similar events. These features have made the Pravithanam St. Augustine’s Pastoral Centre one of the most attractive and sought-after venues in the region.
